Naval Service
Roman Vasilenko began his professional career in the military.
From 1990 to 1998, he served in military unit 22966 of the Leningrad Naval Base. As head of the financial service, he was responsible for the unit’s financial operations.
Following organizational and staffing changes, he was discharged into the reserves. At the time of his discharge, he held the rank of major and retained the right to wear his military uniform.
His military service was one of the first stages in developing his management and financial expertise.

After completing his military service, Vasilenko continued his professional career in commercial organizations.
From 1998 to 2013, he worked in finance and corporate management, progressing from consulting roles to executive positions.
